Okay, so I don't usually take the anime of Eyeshield 21 as canon, if for no other reason than it tends to be different in semi-to-fully-significant ways. Sometimes there are bits of pure gold in it, though, such as episodes 45 and 46- a little filler arc. In these episodes several members of the Devil Bats aid a collage team that has missing players, and when their opposing collage team looses two of their own players Shin and Ootawara join in to help. The team that Shin aids are the Elephants. And their jerseys are a lovely shade of pastel pink. And nobody says anything.
I’m not one of those people that go LOL OMG GUYS IN PINK HAHAHA. Personally I don’t think it’s particularly hilarious. IN NORMAL CASES. This is SHIN we’re talking about here. In pink. It’s like there’s an rhino in the room and no one is saying anything about it. How could it be missed?
So being the ADD nitwit I am, I had to comment on it myself.
(Also: There isn’t enough paper in the world for me to draw every inane commentary comic I think up.)
